Speaker - Steve Edney, The Horticultural Home Garden

Steve Edney and Louise Dowle created the No Name Nursery out of a desire to share great garden plants with fellow garden lovers. Both are professional gardeners with Steve having been the head gardener at the award winning Salutation gardens for 17 years. The new venture is set on a 3 acre site which is designed as a plant playground for growing and testing plants with the aim of sharing these plants for sale in a sustainable manner by growing on site.

Steve and Lou started creating a garden in 2013 at their home in east Kent, a small front garden planted with fruit, herbs and wildlife in mind, a modest sized back garden which is planted as a jungle, full of exotics.

Steve will explain the design ideas, special plants including 4 national collections of plants and how he and Lou look after their home garden.
