The membership year runs from January to December, with renewals every January. Membership is a one off annual payment, and members will be able to renew easily through the website the following year.

Data Protection Acts - Privacy Statement: GHS (“a not-for-profit” Data controller claiming exemption from the requirement to notify under the Act) will store the data you provide in both electronic and hard copy format. These data records will be used solely to administer your membership and to contact and advise you of GHS events and activities, whilst you are a member. Except for online membership purposes GHS will not share your data with any third party without your prior consent. On occasions photographs will be taken at social and other GHS events for publicity purposes, such as our website. If you do not wish your image to be used in this way, please make your wishes known at the event. Most information is circulated by text or email. Should you resign or have not renewed your membership by the end of April in any year, we will delete your data from the Society’s records. Upon payment you agree to accept these conditions and proceed with your membership.
