What an evening!!! 27 July brought music and song to the URC garden as the members of the Music Man company, a wonderful group of people young and old, joined together to entertain members with a variety of tunes, many very emotive, finishing with the classic Sea Shanties echoing the Last Night of the Proms, accompanied by horns and the traditional  'bobbing' of the audience.  The Charity was awarded with a cheque of donations made by the members of the Society towards much needed transport to enable the group to take their wide ranging instruments to further shows!!!

GHS Members enjoy another fabulous holiday packed full of Gardening Delight!!!

Agatha Christie's summer residence at Dartmouth, including a trip on the Steam Railway and boat trips, The Eden project and Gardens of Heligan, RHS Rosemoor and finally Wilton House on our return.  The weather was variable but did not dampen spirits and brought out the stunning colours of the West Countryside.

Mid May saw 33 GHS members taking to the road and heading West to Plymouth with our intrepid driver Mark.  In a 4 day trip packed with adventure the team visited Ted Heath's garden and Salisbury Cathedral,
