GILLINGHAM HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY

Gillingham Horticultural Society was founded in 1940 and welcomes members of all ages from all walks of life.  All you need is an interest in gardening and, whether you prefer growing vegetables, fruit or flowers, you are bound to meet like minded people in GHS!!

It's that time of year again!! The 'Pot A To' Competition - time to bring those buckets everyone!!!

GHS Autum Show a resounding success!

 

Jim Mortley sweeps the points, but Peter Boakes is Best In Show!!!

 

Other winners included Chrissie Cassidy-Wilms with most points in the Domestic Classes, Best in Crafts for Julie Jones with a magnificent knitted Sheep, but overall Craftsperson Denise Driver.  There were also some lovely Magical Gardens in the Children's Section, with Cerys Jones,  Phoebe Behn and little Sage Behn getting awards.

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS - THE SHED IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS FOR 2023 - Friday 11am-1pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am - 12 noon.  Open for Membership Renewals and competitive purchases on our new stock.
